Vegetable chop suey (microwave)

Ingredients:
2 cupSliced celery
1 cupChopped onion
8 ozSliced fresh mushrooms
2 tbspButter/margarine
1/2 cupWater
1 1/2 tbspSoy sauce
2 tbspCornstarch
1 tspInstant beef bouillon
1 tspSugar
28 ozCan chinese vegetables
1/8 tspPepper
Procedures:
1Mix celery, onion, mushrooms and butter in 2 quart casserole, cover.
2Microwave on high 6-8 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
3Set aside.
4In 2 cup measure, combine water, soy sauce, cornstarch, bouillon and sugar.
5Microwave on high 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring twice during cooking.
6Mix sauce and remaining ingredients with celery mixture.
7Microwave at high 4 6 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring after half the time.
8Serve over rice or chow mein noodles
