| oz | To 2 oz green olives with | | | -pimento | | 4
| large | To 6 lg mushrooms, sliced | | | -or 1 small can (optional) | | 8
| oz | Can tomato sauce | | 2
| oz | To 3 oz barbeque sauce | | | -(Bullseye is my choice) | | 1
| cup | Rice | | 2
| cup | Water | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Butter or margarine |

Procedures:
| 1 | Mother murphy"s barbequed rice | | 2 | main dish makes 4 servings | | 3 | begin by preparing rice, bringing to a rolling boil in water, then covering and cooking on low for 50 minutes (more or less). | | 4 | Stir in butter until melted. | | 5 | about half-way through the 50 minutes, begin the sauce. | | 6 | Brown meat in oil. | | 7 | Combine all other ingredients with meat, let simmer 10 minutes. | | 8 | Serve over rice. | | 9 | the meat may be flavored while cooking with garlic or other spices to taste. | | 10 | It is not recommended that any spices be added to the sauce with the other ingredients after the meat is cooked. | | 11 | No additional salt should be added, as there is plenty in the green olives. |
