Ingredients:
4 lbsLean pork spareribs
Water
Salt and pepper
1/2 cupHoney
1/4 cupLemon juice
2 tspGrated lemon peel
2 tspGrated ginger
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 tspRosemary, crushed
1/2 tspCrushed red chilies
1/2 tspGround sage
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 450°F.
2Completely cover spareribs with water in a large pot or deep skillet.
3Bring to a boil, uncovered, over medium heat.
4Simmer 4 minutes.
5Drain liquid, reserving for other use, if desired.
6season both sides of spareribs with salt and pepper.
7Place spareribs on a rack in roasting pan.
8Cover loosely with foil.
9Bake 15 minutes.
10combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
11Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
12Brush spareribs with honey mixture.
13Bake until fully cooked, about 1 hour longer, brushing with honey mixture every 15 minutes.
