Ingredients:
1/2 cupSugar
2 tbspWater
1 cupMilk
3 Eggs
3 Egg yolks
1 tspVanilla
1 cupSlivered almonds
1/4 cupSugar
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350.
2heat sugar and water in small saucepan over medium heat.
3Heat and boil until mixture caramelizes.
4Immediately, pour mixture into 9" round cake pan.
5Cool.
6combine rest of ingredients in a blender; process at high speed 1 minute.
7Pour over caramelized sugar; cover pan with aluminum foil and place in a large shallow pan.
8Pour hot water to depth of 1 inch into larger pan.
9Bake for 55 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
10Remove from water and uncover.
11Cool at least 30 minutes.
12Loosen sides with knife and invert
