Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. | | 2 | Grease a 9" square pan. | | 3 | Line bottom & two side with foil, letting foil extend over the edges. | | 4 | Grease foil. | | 5 | Combine flour, oats, sugar, salt & soda. | | 6 | Cut butter into pieces & add to mixture, cutting in until the mixture is moist & crumbly. | | 7 | Remove 1 ?cups of these crumbs & set aside, press remaining crumbs into the pan. | | 8 | Spread jam to within ? of the edge of the pan. | | 9 | Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top of jam. | | 10 | Bake until golden brown, about 45-55 min. cool completely, before cutting into bars. |
