Ingredients:
FIG FILLING
20 California dried figs
1/2 cupSugar
1 cupBoiling water
1 tbspLemon juice
2 tbspPeanut butter
2 tbspButter or margarine
Procedures:
1For filling: with scissors, snip stems off figs and cut figs into small pieces.
2Combine with remaining ingredients in saucepan.
3Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.
4Add more sugar to taste.
5Spread as suggested below, or use as a filling for white layer cake.
