Favorite devil's food cake

Ingredients:
1 cupSugar
3/4 cupBrown Sugar
1/2 cupSoft butter
3 ozUnsweetened chocolate, melted
3 Egg yolks
1/4 cupWater
1 tspVanilla
2 cupCake flour
1/2 tspSalt
1 cupMilk
1 tspBaking soda
3 Egg whites, stiffly beaten
Procedures:
1Cream sugars and butter.
2Add melted chocolate.
3Beat yolks, add water and vanilla and blend.
4Gradually add yolk mixture to chocolate mixture, beat until light and fluffy.
5Sift together flour, salt,and baking soda.
6Alternately add flour mixture and milk, blending well after each addition.
7Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry, fold into batter.
8Turn into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans, or one greased and floured 13x9x2 inch pan.
9Bake layers or loaf in 350°F about 30-35 minutes, or until cake springs back when touched lightly.
10Turn out on cooling rack.
