Procedures:

Bring 1 cup milk to a boil.

Mix egg yolk and ?cup milk and cornstarch.

Add to hot milk.

It will thicken at once with no lumps.

Add vanilla and cool.

Cool 10 minutes and then add equal.

Chill well
