Ingredients:
2 Earl Grey tea bags
1 cupBoiling water
3/4 cupBrown sugar
3 tbspCocoa
Cake:
3/4 cupCake flour
2 tspCocoa
1 tspBaking powder
1 Egg
1/3 cupSugar
3 tbspButter -- melted
1/3 cupMilk
1 tspVanilla
Procedures:
1Place tea bags in heatproof bowl; pour boiling water over.
2Let steep 8 minures.
3Remove and discard tea bags.
4Stir in brown sugar and cocoa.
5Sift flour with remaining cocoa and baking powder in separate bowl.
6In large bowl, combine egg with sugar, melted butter, milk and vanilla.
7Stir flour mixture into egg mixture.
8Spread in buttered 8-inch square baking dish.
9Pur tea mixture on top.
10Bake 25 minutes in preheated 350f oven.
11Cool 5 to 10 minutes.
12Serve warm.
13Makes 8 - 10 servings
