Ingredients:
1 tbspSugar
3/4 cupWarm water
1 pinchGround ginger
1 Pack dry yeast
1 cupMilk
1/3 cupSugar
1 tspSalt
1/2 cupShortening
1 Beaten egg
5 6 cups flour
Procedures:
1Doughnuts: in a coffee mug dissolve sugar & ginger in warm water.
2Stir in yeast & let stand for 10-15 minutes.
3Scald milk in saucepan & pour into large mixing bowl.
4Add sugar, salt & shortening.
5Stir in egg & about 1 cup flour
