Double decadent brownie torte

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter
1/2 cupLight corn syrup
1 cupSemisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cupGranulated sugar
3 Eggs
1 tspVanilla
1 cupAll-purpose flour
1 cupChopped walnuts or pecans
CHOCOLATE GLAZE
1/2 cupSemisweet chocolate chips
2 tbspButter
1 tbspCorn syrup
1 tspVanilla
Sliced strawberries for
-garnish
Procedures:
1Butter and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
2In a saucepan heat butter and corn syrup until butter is melted.
3Stir in chocolate chips.
4Stir until melted.
5Add sugar and eggs.
6Stir until well blended.
7Stir in vanilla, flour and nuts.
8Pour batter into pan.
9Bake at 35o for 30 minutes, until center springs back when touched.
10Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
11Turn out of pan onto a rack.
12For glaze, combine chocolate chips, butter and corn syrup in saucepan.
13Stir over low heat until chocolate is melted.
14Remove from heat.
15Add vanilla.
16Frost top and sides of torte.
17Chill until set.
18Garnish with sliced strawberries.
19Cut into wedges. serve.
