Ingredients:

| cup | Flour | | 1/2
| cup | Cocoa powder | | 1
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| cup | Margarine | | 1
| cup | Brown sugar | | 3/4
| cup | White sugar | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 12
| oz | Semisweet chocolate chips |

Procedures:
| 1 | In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt; set aside. | | 2 | In large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and white sugar until creamy. | | 3 | Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. | | 4 | Blend in vanilla. | | 5 | Gradually beat in flour mixture. | | 6 | Stir in chocolate chips. | | 7 | Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. | | 8 | Bake at 375f for 8-10 minutes. | | 9 | Let stand 2 minutes before removing from sheets. | | 10 | Makes about 3-?dozen. |
