Ingredients:

| cup | Brown sugar, packed | | 3
| slice | White bread, buttered | | | -cut into ?in. cubes | | 2
| | Eggs | | 2
| cup | Milk | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place brown sugar in top of double boiler. | | 2 | Place bread cubes on top of sugar. | | 3 | Beat eggs with milk, salt and vanilla and pour over bread. | | 4 | Place over simmering water, cover and cook 1 ?hours. | | 5 | Do not stir. | | 6 | Brown sugar forms sauce in bottom of pan. | | 7 | Turn pudding into serving dish |
