Stroganoff superb (microwave)

Ingredients:
3 tbspButter
1 lbsRound Steak
1/2 cupOnion, chopped
4 ozMushrooms, drained
1/4 tspDry Mustard
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
2/3 cupMilk
8 ozCream Cheese, cubed
Procedures:
1Noodles or rice (at end) if having stroganoff over rice, start rice now.
2Place 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine in a deep, 2 quart heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole dish.
3Melt in microwave 30 seconds.
4Cut steak into thin strips and add to butter and heat uncovered in microwave 10 minutes or until meat is browned.
5(if using hamburger it will only take about 7 minutes).
6If having stroganoff over noodles, start noodles now.
7Add onion, mushrooms and seasoning to meat.
8Heat uncovered in microwave for 4 minutes.
9Add cubed cream cheese and milk to meat mixture and heat uncovered in microwave for 4 minutes or until cheese melts, stirring occasionally noodles...
10For every 3 cups of egg noodles bring 3 quarts of water plus 1 tablespoon of salt to a rapid boil.
11Gradually add noodles; return to boil.
12Cook uncovered stirring occasionally for 6 minutes or until tender (cut easily with fork).
13Drain.
14Rice......
15For every 1 cup of uncooked rice, bring 2 cups of water, ?teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of butter or margarine to a rapid boil.
16Add the rice, and bring back to boil.
17Turn heat down to simmer (water and rice just bubbling), and stir occasionally.
18Cook with lid offset for 10 minutes, then place kettle off heat and let stand with lid on; do not stir.
19How much to cook? 1 cup of uncooked rice `should" feed two people.
20But leftover rice is no problem, you can freeze it, and reheat it for many different dishes, or eat plain
