| 3 | heat oven to 350 degrees. |
| 4 | Grease cookie sheets. |
| 5 | In large bowl, beat brown sugar and ?cup butter until light and fluffy. |
| 6 | Add 1 tsp. vanilla, chocolate and egg; blend well. |
| 7 | Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. |
| 8 | In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. |
| 9 | Add dry ingredients and sour cream to chocolate mixture; mix well. |
| 10 | Stir in walnuts. |
| 11 | Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2" apart on greased cookie sheets. |
| 12 | Bake at 350°F for 10 to 14 minutes or until set. |
| 13 | Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. |
| 14 | Cool completely. |
| 15 | frosting: |
| 16 | in a small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients, adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency; blend until smooth. |
| 17 | Spread on cooled cookies. |
| 18 | Allow frosting to set before storing. |
