| 1 | Stir together 1 c flour and ?c confectioners" sugar; cut in butter till mixture clings together. |
| 2 | Pat into ungreased 8x8x2 inch baking pan. |
| 3 | Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes. |
| 4 | in mixing bowl beat eggs; add granulated sugar and lemon juice. |
| 5 | Beat till slightly thick and smooth, 8 to 10 minutesl stir together 2 tb flour and baking powder; add to egg mixture. |
| 6 | Blend just till all is moistened. |
| 7 | Pour over baked layer. |
| 8 | bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes. |
| 9 | Sift confectioners" sugar over top. |
| 10 | Cool; cut cookies into 1 inch squares. |
