Ingredients:
1/2 cupSugar
2 cupMilk
2 tspFlour
6 Egg yolks, beaten
1/4 tspSalt
1 tspVanilla extract
Procedures:
1Blend sugar, flour, and salt in a heavy saucepan.
2Stir in the milk.
3Bring to boiling; stir and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
4Add a small amount of the hot mixture to egg yolks, stirring constantly.
5Blend into mixture in saucepan.
6Cook 1 minute.
7Remove from heat and cool immediately by pouring custard into a chilled bowl and setting it in refrigerator or pan of cold water.
8Blend extract into cooled custard.
9Chill until serving time.
