Basic fruit sauce

Ingredients:
1 cupFruit juice
1 pinchCream of tartar
1/4 cupSugar
- if juice is unsweetened
1 tbspLemon juice
2 tspArrowroot or cornstarch
2 tbspFruit juice, cold
Procedures:
1This fruit sauce is one of the basics.
2It can be served on ice cream or with a pastry.
3combine first amount of juice, cream of tartar, sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan and bring to boil.
4Mix arrowroot with the rest of cold fruit juice.
5Add to boiling juice.
6Cook until clear and slightly thickened.
7Serve hot or cold.
