Simple chocolate truffles

Ingredients:
4 cupPowdered sugar
-(yes, four cups!)
8 ozCream cheese (one
-large package or
-3 small packages
-less a nibble)
1 tbspVanilla extract
5 ozUnsweetened chocolate
Assorted toppings
-(cocoa, powdered sugar
-crushed nuts, jimmies
-etc.)
Procedures:
1Mix the powdered sugar into the softened cream cheese a little (2/3 cup) at a time, making sure it is well blended after every addition.
2Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and add it to the cream cheese mixture along with the vanilla.
3Mix well.
4Chill for a couple hours.
5Roll mix into one inch balls, then roll them in a topping.
6Chill.
7Notes: * easy-to-make candies with chocolate and cream cheese -- here"s a good recipe for lazy chocolate freaks.
8They"re not as good as the ones you buy in good candy stores, but they"re still yummy.
