Sausage cornbread

Ingredients:
1 lbsBulk pork sausage
3/4 cupFlour
3/4 cupCornmeal
1 tbspSugar
1 tbspBaking powder
1/2 tspSalt
2 Eggs, beaten
1/2 cupMilk
1/3 cupSausage drippings
Procedures:
1Crumble sausage over bottom of 9" round baking dish.
2Microwave on high setting for 4 ?to 7 minutes, stirring after half the time.
3Drain off fat and reserve 1/3 cup of it for cornbread.
4In another dish reserve half of the cooked sausage.
5Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl.
6Stir only till smooth.
7Pour over sausage in baking dish.
8Crumble reserved sausage over top.
9Center dish on inverted saucer in oven.
10Microwave on medium 6 minutes, rotating every 2 minutes.
11Check for doneness by looking into the bottom of the dish to be sure there is no raw batter.
12Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
