Ingredients:
| 1
| lbs | Bulk pork sausage | | 3/4
| cup | Flour | | 3/4
| cup | Cornmeal | | 1
| tbsp | Sugar | | 1
| tbsp | Baking powder | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 2
| | Eggs, beaten | | 1/2
| cup | Milk | | 1/3
| cup | Sausage drippings |

Procedures:
| 1 | Crumble sausage over bottom of 9" round baking dish. | | 2 | Microwave on high setting for 4 ?to 7 minutes, stirring after half the time. | | 3 | Drain off fat and reserve 1/3 cup of it for cornbread. | | 4 | In another dish reserve half of the cooked sausage. | | 5 | Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. | | 6 | Stir only till smooth. | | 7 | Pour over sausage in baking dish. | | 8 | Crumble reserved sausage over top. | | 9 | Center dish on inverted saucer in oven. | | 10 | Microwave on medium 6 minutes, rotating every 2 minutes. | | 11 | Check for doneness by looking into the bottom of the dish to be sure there is no raw batter. | | 12 | Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. |
