Ingredients:
2 cupSugar
1/3 cupChunky Peanut Butter
1/2 cupLight Corn Syrup
1 tspBaking Powder
1/2 cupWater
Procedures:
1Grease 2 large baking sheets.
2Place on wire racks.
3In heavy 1 ?quart saucepan, add first 3 ingredients, stiring constantly.
4Boil over medium heat.
5Cook with out stirring til mixture is 300 degrees on candy thermometer.
6Stir in peanut butter, blend well.
7Remove from heat.
8Quickly, but gently, stir in soda.
9Immediately pour onto cookie sheets.
10Don"t spread.
11Cool for 3 to 5 minutes till cool enough to handle.
12With hands grasp candy by edges, lifting slightly, pull as thin as possible.
13Cool.
14Break into irregular pieces.
15Store in tightly covered container.
16Makes 1 ?pounds.
