| cup | Chopped candied cherries | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1/2
| cup | Coconut | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped nuts |

Procedures:
| 1 | Part 1: combine sugar, cocoa, and water. | | 2 | Boil to soft ball stage (234 - 238°F). | | 3 | Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites. | | 4 | Beat constantly. | | 5 | Add part 1, and continue to beat until the mixture begins to stiffen. | | 6 | Add flavoring, nuts, candied cherries, and coconut. | | 7 | When mixture is firm but still hot, rinse your hands in cold water (do not wipe them). | | 8 | Form mixture into a loaf. | | 9 | Roll in yellow coconut. | | 10 | Place on well-buttered plate. | | 11 | Slice with sharp knife |
