Procedures:
| 1 | Mix meat, onion, spices in a saucepan. | | 2 | Add boiling water. | | 3 | Simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. | | 4 | Skim off any fat. | | 5 | Preheat oven to 375°F. | | 6 | Roll out half of the pastry and line 9" pie plate. | | 7 | Place filling in pie plate and cover with the remaining pastry. | | 8 | Prick with a fork. | | 9 | Bake at 375f for 30 minutes or till golden. | | 10 | Serve piping hot topped with homemade ketchup or chili sauce. | | 11 | Serves 4-6 traditionally this is eaten hot after midnight mass on christmas eve. |
