Ingredients:
1 Bell pepper, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
2 Med tomatoes, chopped
1 cupChopped celery
1 Clove garlic, crushed
2 tbspMinced parsley
2 tspChopped thyme leaves
2 tspOregano leaves, chopped
1/8 tspCayenne
1/2 tspSalt
4 ozSmoked sausage, chopped
8 ozChicken breast, chopped
2 cupBeef broth or bouillon
1/2 lbsCooked shelled shrimp
1 cupCooked rice
Procedures:
1Shell shrimp, halve lengthwise.
2In slow cooker,combine all ingred. except shrimp & rice.
3Cover & cook on low 9-10 hours.
4Turn slow cooker on high, add cooked shrimp & cooked rice.
5Cover; cook on high 20-30 minutes.
