Schinkenfleckerln (ham and noodle casserole)

Ingredients:
1/4 cupSkim milk
1 Egg, separated
1 tbspMargarine, melted, divided
1/8 tspPepper
5 ozBoiled ham, cut into
-?inch cubes
1 cupCooked noodles (medium
-width)
1 dashSalt
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 375°F.
2In small mixing bowl combine milk, egg yolk, 2 ?teaspoons margarine, and the pepper, mixing thoroughly; add ham and noodles and stir well to thoroughly combine.
3In separate bowl beat egg white with salt until stiff but not dry; gently fold into noodle mixture.
4Grease 2-cup casserole with remaining margarine and spoon noodle mixture into casserole.
5Bake until browned on top, 45 to 50 minutes.
6Makes 2 servings.
