Great tuna casserole

Ingredients:
1 packWide noodles (16 oz.)
1 largeCan Albacore tuna
-in water
1 Red bell pepper *
1 largeOnion *
1 largeJar pimentos
5 medCelery stalks *
1/2 cupSeasoned bread crumbs
1 1/2 cupMayonaise
1 canCream of celery soup
1 Soup can milk
3/4 cupGood Sherry wine
1 packSlivered almonds
Procedures:
1* chopped small Cook noodles al dente, rinse with cold water, drain, and toss with a little olive oil.
2Put aside and cover to keep soft.
3Saute onions, peppers, celery in olive oil for about 5 minutes.
4Throw in the pimentos.
5Set aside.
6In a large deep skillet, mix together the mayonaise, celery soup, milk and sherry.
7Cook a few minutes until well blended, then add sauted ingredients.
8Drain the tuna, flake and put in the sauce.
9Cook for a couple of minutes, stirring gently.
10In a large bowl, mix the cooked noodles and sauce until well blended.
11Transfer to small casserole dishes or one large (your choice) and sprinkle with bread crumbs and slivered almonds.
12Salt & pepper to taste when served.
