4 tbspButter
3 tbspWhole what pastry flour
1 1/2 cupMilk
1 1/4 cupRicotta cheese
4 tbspParmesan cheese, grated
2 1/2 cupLarge pasta shells, cooked
1/2 cupFresh dill, chopped
1/2 cupAlmonds, sliced
1 1/2 cupCooked chicken, cubed
Freshly ground pepper
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 °F.
2In a medium-size saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons butter.
3When hot, add flour and stir.
4Add milk all at once and stir with a wire whisk until mixture comes to a boil.
5Stir in ricotta until it melts.
6Add 2 tablespoons parmesan.
7Mix pasta with cheese sauce.
8Stir in dill and almonds.
9Mix in chicken and season with lots of pepper.
10Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons parmesan over top and dot with remaining 1 tablespoon butter.
11Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until hot.
