Ingredients:
6 English muffin halves

1 tbspButter or margarine
6 sliceSalami (1 ounce each)
-- cut into quarters
1 cupLettuce, chopped
1/2 smallOnion, thinly sliced
-- and separated into rings
1 medTomato, thinly sliced
1/2 tspBasil leaves
6 slicePasteurized process cheese
-- (American) 1 ounce each
Procedures:
1Spread toasted muffin halves with butter or margarine.
2Layer salami quarters, lettuce, onion, and tomato slices on toasted muffin halves.
3Sprinkle with basil.
4Top each sandwich with cheese slice.
5Broil until cheese is melted and is lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
