Ingredients:
CRUST
3 cupFlour
1/4 cupPlus 2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 tspSalt
3/4 cupMargarine or butter
-softened
FILLING
4 Eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cupSugar
1 1/2 cupKaro light or dark corn
-syrup
3 tbspMargarine or butter, melted
1 1/2 tspVanilla
2 1/2 cupChopped pecans
Procedures:
1For filling mix all ingredients except pecans until well blended.
2Stir in pecans.
3Heat oven to 350 .
4Grease jelly roll pan, 15 ? x 10 ? x 1".
5Beat flour, sugar, margarine and salt in large bowl on medium speed until crumbly (mixture will be dry).
6Press firmly in pan.
7Bakeuntil light golden brown, about 20 minutes.
8Prepare filling.
9Pour over baked layer; spread evenly.
10Bake until filling is set, about 25 minutes.
11Cool.
12Cut into 1 ?inch squares (70 squares)
