| 1 | Sift together 2 cups flour, ?cup sugar, baking powder and salt. |
| 2 | With fingers blend in butter or margarine, egg and water until dough holds together. |
| 3 | Chill 1/3 of dough. |
| 4 | Pat remaining 2/3 of dough on bottom and half way up sides of greased 9 inch springform pan. |
| 5 | Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes. |
| 6 | Peel, core and slice apples. |
| 7 | Toss with lemon juice and raisins. |
| 8 | Mix 1/3 cup sugar with 2 tb flour and cinnamon; toss with apples. |
| 9 | Turn into prepared crust. |
| 10 | Roll out chilled dough and cut into ?inch strips. |
| 11 | Arrange in lattice over apples, sealing to edges of baked pastry. |
| 12 | Bake at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes, until apples are tender and crust is golden brown |
