Ingredients:
1 Pound chicken livers, each
-Half or into fourths
3 Green onions (with tops), sl
2 tbspMargarine or butter
1/2 tspSalt
2 medCooking apples, each cored
-And cut into eighths
1/4 cupPacked brown sugar
Procedures:
1Chicken livers with glazed apples.
2Cook chicken livers and onions in margarine in 10-inch skillet over medium heat about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until livers are brown.
3Sprinkle with salt.
4Push to one side of skillet.place apples in skillet.
5Sprinkle with brown sugar.
6Cook uncovered over medium heat about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and glazed.
7Serve sauce over livers.
8Garnish with sliced green onion tops if desired.
