Lois's magic lemon pie

Ingredients:
LEMON FILLING
15 ozSweetened condensed milk
1/2 cupLemon juice
1 tspLemon zest
2 Egg yolks
MERINGUE
2 Egg whites
1/4 tspCream of tartar
4 tbspSugar
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST
18 Graham cracker squares
1/4 lbsButter or margarine
1/3 cupSugar
1/8 tspCinnamon
Procedures:
1Thoroughly mix crust ingredients and pack into a nine inch pie pan.
2Bake at 375 °F for 10 minutes and put aside to cool.
3Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees.
4In a mixing bowl, combine condensed milk, lemon juice, lemon zest and egg yolks.
5Stir until mixture thickens.
6Pour into cooled crust.
7Add cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until almost stiff.
8Add sugar gradually, beating until stiff and glossy but not dry.
9Pile lightly on pie filling.
10Bake at 325 until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
11Cool thoroughly.
