French silk chocolate pie

Ingredients:
1 Pie shell, baked and cooled
1/2 cupButter
3/4 cupSugar
1 ozChocolate square *
1 tspVanilla
2 Eggs
Whipped cream and walnuts

Procedures:

2Make your favorite single 8 inch pie shell.
3Cream butter, add sugar slowly, creaming well.
4Blend in melted and cooled chocolate and vanilla.
5Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition.
6With electric mixer use medium speed.
7Turn into cooled, baked pie shell.
8Chill 1 to 2 hours.
9Before serving top with whipped cream and walnuts, if desired
