| cup | Almonds, toasted | | 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1/2
| cup | Margarine, softened | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1/4
| tsp | Almond extract | | 2
| tbsp | Flour | | 1
| | Unbaked pie shell | | 2
| | Granny smith apples |

Procedures:
| 1 | In food processor, with metal blade, grind almonds with sugar. | | 2 | Mix in margarine, eggs, almond extract until thoroughly combined. | | 3 | Blend in flour. | | 4 | Spoon mixture into pie shell. | | 5 | Peel apples. | | 6 | Slice. | | 7 | Arrange over almond filling. | | 8 | Bake pie at 375°F for 50 - 60 minutes, until center is set and crust is golden brown |
