Fdr's favorite pecan pie

Ingredients:

Pastry for 9" pie

Butter

cup
Sugar, brown
1
cup
Corn syrup

Eggs, well beaten

tsp
Vanilla
1
cup
Pecans, halved or pieces
Procedures:

Fat grams per serving: approx. cook time: :50 precook 9" pastry shell for 5 minutes at 425°F.

(i use speedy pat-in-pastry).

Turn down oven to 350°F.

Cream butter and sugar, add syrup, eggs and vanilla.

Mix well, then add pecans.

Pour into prepared crust and bake in 350f oven till filling is firm, about 40 to 50 minutes.

Cool before cutting.
