Chicken and shrimp in red wine sauce

Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbsBroiler-fryer chicken to
3 lbsBroiler-fryer chicken, cut
-into serving pieces
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1/4 cupFlour
1/2 cupButter or margarine
1 largeFinely chopped onion
2 Cloves garlic
-peeled and crushed
3 tbspChopped parsley
3/4 cupRed wine
1/2 tspItalian seasoning
8 ozCan tomato sauce
1 tspDried sweet basil leaves
1 lbsRaw, shelled deveined shrimp
Procedures:
1Wash chicken and pat dry.
2Set aside.
3In a plastic bag combine salt, pepper and flour.
4Coat each piece of chicken with seasoned flour.
5In a large, heat-resistant, non-metallic skillet melt butter on top of a conventional surface unit.
6Add chicken pieces and brown on all sides until golden brown.
7Remove chicken pieces and set aside.
8Add onions and garlic to skillet.
9Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 1 ?minutes or until onion is tender.
10Add chopped parsley, wine, ltalian seasoning, tomato sauce, and sweet basil to sautéed onion mixture.
11Stir to combine.
12Add reserved chicken pieces and heat, covered, in microwave oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until chicken is tender.
13Remove chicken pieces and place on serving platter.
14Add shrimp to wine sauce and heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 3 minutes or until sauce bubbles and shrimp turn pink.
15(do not overcook shrimp as they will become tough).

18Pour shrimp sauce over chicken pieces
