Ingredients:
Double Crust Pie Crust
3/4 cupSugar
1/4 cupCorn starch
1 tspCinnamon
5 cupPeeled apple slices
2 cupCranberries, fresh or frozen
1/3 cupCorn syrup, light or dark
1 tbspButter or margarine
Milk
Sugar
Procedures:
1Prepare pie crusts for filled two-crust pie using 9-inch pan.
2Heat oven to 450°F.
3In a large bowl, stir sugar, corn starch and cinnamon until well mixed.
4In another large bowl, mix apples, cranberries and corn syrup.
5Add fruit to sugar mixture.
6Mix to combine.
7Spoon into pie crust-lined pan.
8Dot with butter.
9Top with second crust; flute.
10Cut four 4-inch slashes in center of crust forming a criss-cross design.
11Peel back center points and press lightly in crust to hod and form 8 petals.
12Brush crust with milk; sprinkle with sugar.
13Bake at 450f for 10 minutes.
14Reduce temperature to 350°F; continue baking 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
15Cool completely on wire rack.
16Store in refrigerator
