Small coffee cakes (kleina kaffee kuchen)

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter and other shortening
2 ea Egg yolk
1/2 cupCream
1 cupYeast
1 cupMilk, lukewarm
2 ea Egg
3 tbspSugar
2 cupFlour, sifted
1 x*dissolved in:
1/2 tspSalt
Procedures:
1Cream the butter, sugar and salt and add the eggs and egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
2To the dissolved yeast, add 3 tbsp of the flour and mix well.
3Combine with the first mixture.
4Add the remaining flour and cream alternately.
5Grease and flour muffin tins and fill 2/3 full of the dough.
6Set pans in a warm place until dough has risen to the tops of the pans.
7Bake at 400°F about 25 minutes
