Ingredients:
14 lbsPear
6 lbsSugar
1 tspCinnamon, stick
1 quartCider vinegar
1 tspCloves, whole
Procedures:
1Any good preserving pear may be used.
2Slice and remove core or pickle whole; the latter method is preferred when sickel pears are used.
3Peel pears.
4Put spices in a small cheese cloth bag and add to the vinegar and sugar and bring to a boil.
5Add pears and cook until tender.
6The pears will look clear when tender.
7Remove them with a spoon and place them in sterilized jars.
8Boil the syrup until it becomes thick, the pour it over pears and seal
