Ingredients:
2 eachEgg, separated
1 cupMilk
1 eachLemon, juice of
1 tbspButter, melted
1 cupSugar
3 tbspFlour
1 eachLemon, rind of
1 pinchSalt
Procedures:
1Mix the sugar and flour together and add the lemon juice and rind, slightly beaten egg yolks, butter and salt.
2Stir in the milk and mix well.
3Beat the whites until stiff and fold into the first mixture.
4Pour into custard cups.
5Set the cups in pan with hot water and bake at 350°F about 40 minutes.
6The sponge may also be baked in pie shell.
