Hot horseradish sauce

Ingredients:
1/2 cupHorseradish, grated
1 x*or:
1 tspFlour
1 tbspButter
1 xPaprika
1/4 cupCream
1/4 cupMilk
1 ea Egg yolk
1/8 tspPepper
Procedures:
1Put the grated horseradish into a small earthen cooking vessel; add the flour, salt, paprika and butter; pour in the cream and let cook until thick and smooth.
2Keep stirring constantly.
3Move to the back of the stove and add the egg yolk, stirring rapidly.
4Cook for 30 seconds and serve at once.
5This sauce may be eaten as a relish with hot roast or boiled beef
