Ingredients:
3 Beaten eggs
2 cupMilk
4 cupSifted all purpose flour
1/3 cupSugar
1/2 tspSalt
1 tbspBaking powder
Fat or oil for deep frying
Confectioners sugar
Procedures:
1Servings: 30 beat eggs with milk and gradually beat in flour, sugar , salt, and baking powder.
2Beat until very smooth.
3Holding the opening of a funnel closed, fill the funnel with the batter.
4Open the end of the funnel and allow dough to run out in a stream into deep hot fat(375).
5Move the funnel to make a pattern, starting at the center of the pan and swirling batter outward in a circle.
6Fry for 2 or 3 minutes, or until brown.
7Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
8Makes about 30 cakes, depending on size
