Buttermilk pecan pie

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter
2 cupSugar
2 tspVanilla
3 Eggs
3 tbspFlour
1/4 tspSalt
1 cupButtermilk
1 Pie shell, 9" unbaked
1/2 cupPecans, chopped
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 300°F.
2Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, adding ?cup sugar at a time.
3Blend in vanilla.
4Add eggs, one at a time.
5Combine flour and salt; add small amount at a time.
6Add buttermilk.
7Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pie crust; pour custard mix over the pecans and bake 1 hour 30 minutes at 300°F.
8The top browns as it cooks.
9Best served at room temperature
