Ingredients:

| slice | Bacon, cooked and crumbled | | 2
| tbsp | Butter or margarine | | 2
| tbsp | All-purpose flour | | 1
| cup | Milk | | 1
| tsp | Chopped chives | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Prepare bacon and set aside. | | 2 | Melt butter in a 1-quart glass measuring picher in mirowave oven (about 30 seconds at high). | | 3 | Add flour; mix until smooth. | | 4 | Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. | | 5 | Cook uncovered in microwave oven 4 minutes at high, or until thickened; stir after 2 minutes, then every 30 seconds. | | 6 | Add crumbled bacon, chives and salt; stir. | | 7 | Serve over fresh vegetables. | | 8 | Yield: about 1 cup. |
