Ingredients:
6 Lg Unpared, Cored, Red Apple
3 tbspButter
1/2 cupCooking Wine
1/2 cupWater
1 cupSugar
1 tbspLemon Juice
1 6" Cinnamon Stick
Procedures:
1Saute apples in butter for 6-8 minutes in non-stick skillet.
2Boil wine, sugar, cinnamon stick, and lemon juice for 5 minutes.
3Pour over apples.
4Cook, uncovered, until apples are tender.
5Pour into serving dish.
6Serve warm or cold.
7Note: for a simple supper serve with browned sausage patties or links.
8For an elegant touch serve with a pork roast
